As an unprecedent movement in the region, Avon listened to more than 1000 black women and leveraged global R&D to research the specific Brazilian skin tones diversity, with consultant and black skin make-up expert Danielle Damata.
Avon reviewed and reintroduced make-up portfolio to black women with quality offer through a full range of shades that finally were able to represent their needs and their diversity of skin tones. The brand also launched the Black Paper study that expanded its knowledge on representation & science to the beauty industry. Danielle Damata, Larissa Luz and Zezé Motta were the brand main supporters who led the creation of the campaign. Avon also made a public anti-racist commitment compromising with hiring and support leadership development of black people as corporate leaders.
